Vintage Birthday Card

Hello Peeps!!
Today I would like to share with you a birthday card that I created.  I used some fabulous goodies from Really Reason Ribbon, some from this month's fabulous assortment
"Pink & Brown Vintage."
Monthly Ribbon Club, Domestic
I also used some fabulous Images from this month's  "Art of Watherhouse Collection" from Gecko Galz.
Here is my card.
Right off you will see the gorgeous Brown diamond satin, natural crochet lace, and pink satin  ribbons that I used from this month's assortment.  I LOVE them!!
I also used a few new items from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The darling buttons are from the Vintage Button Bonanza and the roses are the 10mm Open Rose, mixed pink tone.  I also used some of my go to favorites!  The Cotton Candy baker's twine and Light Pink Organza!
For my Birthday card, I started out with a plain 5 by 7 ivory cardstock base.  I then created my own collage sheet using the "Art of Watherhouse Collection"Frame's Collection, and Alter It Collections from Gecko Galz.
I decided to go with a "tag" shape, so I created my background digital paper in the tag shape that I wanted.  I cut out all of my pieces and inked them with Ranger's Vintage Photo distress ink.  I used my Go TO Scor Tape to adhere my layers to the cardstock base, and 3D foam tabs to elevate my Framed Ladies and Happy Birthday text box.
I used my perfect layers ruler to measure 1/8 inch from the folded edged of my card, then placed my calendar paper layer.  I adhered it in place with the Scor Tape   Then I proceeded to use the the perfect layer's ruler around the edges of my tag shape and cut off the excess cardstock to achieve the tag shaped card.
Next I used the brown diamond ribbon, adhered it down the center of my card with Scor Tape.  The Light Pink Organza and pink satin ribbon were adhered using the scor tape as well across the center of the card.  I left enough Light Pink Organza to wrap around the back of card and tie a bow to the right.  The crochet lace was placed across the top as well as the roses and button using designer glue.  I used the Cotton Candy baker's twine to tie knots in my buttons.  I finished off my card by adding some dots of Art Glitter Designer dries clear Glue with the Ultra fine Metal Tip to the perimeter and added some #352 Chamois glitter.
If you get a chance you really need to visit Gecko Galz, and Really Reasonable Ribbon store and check out all the new goodies and this month's ribbon assortment!
Thank you for visiting!!
Hugs!!
Heather
